Samsung Papyrus e-book reader

Samsung is going to release in Korea its Papyrus portable e-book reader.

The A5-sized Samsung Papyrus has 512MB internal memory and a touchscreen. Other than reading e-books, the Papyrus offers also note-taker, world clock, memo-taker, calculator and contacts functions.

Sony Ericsson T707 – Maria Sharapova’s phone

Sony Ericsson announced the new T707 clamshell mobile phone. The stylish T707 features a 2.2-inch 240×320 main display with QVGA resolution, a 1.1-inch OLED monochrome external display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, Bluetooth, media player, 100MB internal memory and a Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot.

SE T707 features unique pulsating notification and light effects, Day and Night changing theme, and Gesture control for muting calls and alarm.

Other features of the Sony Ericsson T707 include 3G, FM radio, and motion gaming.

Sony Ericsson hired tennis star Maria Sharapova to present the T707.

Acer Veriton X270 Desktop PC

Acer announced the availability of its Veriton X270 series business desktop PC in the US. The Veritan X270 is powered by an Intel processor up to Core 2 Duo, up to 4GB of RAM, integrated NVIDIA GeForce 7100 chipset and nForce 630i Graphics, and up to 500GB hard drive.

The X270 include also DVD SuperMulti burner, Ethernet LAN, 5.1 Channel audio, and an HDMI port. It has a PCI Express x16, a PCI Express x1 and two PCI 2.3 expansion slots.

Canon EOS 500D: Hi-Def Video

Canon has just announced the 15.1 megapixel EOS 500D, known as the Rebel T1i in the US market. It’s a high-end consumer model which shoots HD video.

The upper-entry-level camera features a 15.1 MP APS-C CMOS sensor with 1080p HD video recording at 20fps. It also offers a 3.0 inch LCD with 920,000 dot resolution and an ISO sensitivity range expandable up to 12800 equivalent. It includes a faster Digic 4 processor offering better noise reduction at higher ISO’s and continuous shooting speeds of up to 3.4 fps delivering 170 large JPEG images in a single burst.

Lenovo X1 Slider Touch Screen Phone

Lenovo has a brand new of touchscreen phone in form of the X1. Set to available in China, the X1 is a Tri-band GSM with EDGE network support handset which means it doesn’t support 3G but does GPS capability.

The nicely designed touch screen slider phone features a 3.2-inch WQVGA display with a new user interface called “Touch Dream.”
