Acer Ferrari One Netbook

Acer has unveiled its 11-inch widescreen Ferrari One Netbook which is powered by an AMD Athlon X2 L310 dual-core processor.

The Ferrari One Netbook, which is based on AMD’s second-generation ultra-thin platform is equipped with equipped with 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive and will provide a 1,366 by 768 resolution in addition to Radeon HD 3200 graphics adaptor, wi-fi and Bluetooth and 3G for access to mobile broadband.

The Acer F1 features a Qualcomm 8250 1GHz processor, and will come with Windows Mobile 6.5, it features a 3.8 inch WVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800, and is Quad-band GSM / Tri-band HSPA.

Acer Veriton X270 Desktop PC

Acer announced the availability of its Veriton X270 series business desktop PC in the US. The Veritan X270 is powered by an Intel processor up to Core 2 Duo, up to 4GB of RAM, integrated NVIDIA GeForce 7100 chipset and nForce 630i Graphics, and up to 500GB hard drive.

The X270 include also DVD SuperMulti burner, Ethernet LAN, 5.1 Channel audio, and an HDMI port. It has a PCI Express x16, a PCI Express x1 and two PCI 2.3 expansion slots.

Acer Smartphone

Acer will release its new smartphone series in Q1 2009. It seems that these upcoming smartphones will be based on Windows Mobile OS.  Acer made it clear that they would be entering the smartphone market when they purchased the company E-Ten, a fellow Taiwanese company that makes smartphones under the Glofish brand.
